ALMAG® ES

The efforts of Refratechnik’s Research and Develop­ment ­resulted in a new brick grade with a combination of properties that seemed to be impossible so far.

ALMAG® ES, representing an evolution of the worldwide ­acknowledged magnesia spinel brick grade ALMAG® 85, shows the following characteristics:

  • achieving ALMAG® 85’s performance range
  • turning losses into savings
  • environmentally friendly
 

Advantages at a glance

  • improves the clinker burning process
  • optimizes chemical reactions in the kiln
  • contributes to about 30% lower heat losses through the kiln shell
  • good thermomechanical and thermochemical resistance
